About Knotty Bliss Boutique

Knotty Bliss Boutique started as a hair bow and baby crochet shop. Then it changed and morphed over the years. Hair bows were phased out and then so were the baby items. In their place, teen and adult clothing and crochet patterns took their place. Now we provide crochet patterns, clothing and accessories, and decor for your home.

My name is De and I’m the brain, heart, and hands behind Knotty Bliss Boutique. I’m an elementary art teacher with a passion for all things art, but especially the fibre arts. I’ve been crocheting since I was 6 or 7. My grandma taught me to make dishcloths and pot holders, everything else I learned on my own from blogs and YouTube videos. Fast forward roughly 14 years and now I have 20 published patterns and many repeat customers that have become great friends. I’m living life teaching art to hundreds of k-6th graders and crocheting all the time.

I’ll admit though, I love to design new things. Anything and everything will inspire me. A certain stitch, a movie, a book, you name it. I can find inspiration just about anywhere and I run with it. My newest series is the Aspen Chroma series and you can tell I ran with it. It started with the cowl and then a headband and then a hat and finally fingerless gloves. I love sets of things so I can have matching accessories every winter so it works out perfectly.
