Aspen Chroma Cowl CAL Info

a rainbow cowl with a faux leather tag that says Knotty Bliss Boutique

Hello! I have decided to host a CAL this July in preparation for fall. My most popular pattern: The Aspen Chroma Cowl has been selected as I would love to see more beautiful cowls made by others. This cowl is simple and the texture is quite lovely.

The details:

  • CAL will start July 6th.
  • You do not need to buy the pattern if you don’t already own it. I plan to post it in 3 parts on the blog.
  • You will need about 75-100 Grams of sock/fingering weight yarn. I will be offering hand dyed yarn for anyone who may like it. Please check Etsy for offerings, you can even add on the pattern if you’d like. I plan to offer both a full skein and a mini skein set.
  • There will be prizes involved. They may range from free patterns to a shop credit. Everyone doing the CAL will be eligible.

Where is this all taking place?

The CAL pieces will be posted here on the Knotty Bliss Boutique blog, in 3 parts, a couple of days apart. Any questions and pictures can be posted in the Knotty Bliss Crochet group on Facebook. In the group I will post videos for any confusing areas and I will try to go live once the new post comes out to answer any questions. My goal is to build a community because I love getting to know other makers and seeing their creations.

How do I join and participate?

There’s no sign up. Just join my Facebook group and watch for the release times of each section. Post photos of your cowl at the different stages, ask questions, and interact on others posts. I will have prizes for a variety of things.

If you’re not on Facebook but are on Ravelry, check out our group on there to participate! Here is the group!

If you have any other questions please reach out. I would love for you to join us.

Not ready/don’t have the time for a CAL? Want to grab the pattern without ads and all in one place? Check it out here on my blog in the shop section, on Ravelry, or on Etsy.

oh, shoot, I’m not on facebook. I saw this because I have made this pattern a couple of times now, I really love it, and I got an update about the pattern update. Oh well – maybe next time you could do something over on Ravelry. thanks for such a great pattern, I truly love it!

You are still very welcome to join! I’ll be encouraging those who do participate to post finished projects on Ravelry.
