Projects from the Aspen Chroma Cowl CAL

I want to give a big thank you to everyone who participated in my Aspen Chroma Cowl CAL. For my first CAL I’d say it went smoothly and we didn’t really have an issues on my side anyway. I saw some beautiful yarns and I’m going to share some finished cowls with you. They’re too pretty to not share.

I hope to do more CALs in the future, thought they will probably be a once or twice a year kind of thing because they are a lot of time as I expected. I enjoyed helping build a community, even if it is small, that makes things together from time to time. Community is everything to me and is a large part of this blog and my shop. Community is how we learn and how we succeed in the end.

Obviously you’ll have access to the free version of my Aspen Chroma Cowl pattern, but if you want DK and Worsted Weight stitch counts of it, they’re included in the premium paid version that you can find in my Ravelry or Etsy shop. I also have a big bundle discount if you buy all of the Aspen chroma patterns when you purchase through Ravelry. That discount is automatically applied when you add all the patterns to your cart.

Now onto the pretty cowls from this CAL:

This one is from Judy LaBine. I absolutely love this yarn that she used.

This next one isn’t technically finished (in the photo), but I really loved the picture. The Cowl is made by Julie Hislop. She was using up some of her scraps of yarn and they are a great combo.

This next cowl is my own. I used a yarn from Woolly Mama Yarns and it turned out beautifully.

This cowl is made by Jerri Varian Beatty. It’s a lovely pink, grey, and white.
